 Fear is one of serveral basic human emotions that alert us to imminent and real danger. This sensation is quite real and is a very useful tool in our day to day lives. Unfortunately, it is vulnerable to infiltration and can be used against you by others. People have manipulated their fellow man's fear mechanisms since we first walked the earth. It is a tricky thing, this cyclical world that we live in... it just keeps throwing the exact same fast ball at us, and sits back and watches us as we figure out new ways to swing a-a-a-nd, "miss" at age old problems. Occasionally we hit a foul ball or two, but generally speaking we fail to recognize our eventual downfalls. |
