Human Element
No ImageFear is one of serveral basic human emotions that alert us to imminent and real danger.  This sensation is quite real and is a very useful tool in our day to day lives. Unfortunately, it is vulnerable to infiltration and can be used against you by others.  People have manipulated their fellow man's fear mechanisms since we first walked the earth. It is a tricky thing, this cyclical world that we live in... it just keeps throwing the exact same fast ball at us, and sits back and watches us as we figure out new ways  to swing a-a-a-nd, "miss" at age old problems.  Occasionally we hit a foul ball or two, but generally speaking we fail to recognize our eventual downfalls.

We can almost hear the cosmos laughing out loud, or is that thunder? All joking aside, the same fast ball is headed right down the pike. We live in a relatively peaceful period in history.  Freedom is spreading, prosperity abounds, and technology is taking us to new dimensions, literally! But there are wolves in the henhouse.  For with all of these positives, there are some very real, looming, and negative possibilities... one of them being our enviroment. And not just our physical enviroment, but the enviroment of our minds.  Both are quite literaly crying out, " STOP, LOOK WHAT YOU ARE DOING!"  Don't take our word for it.  There are real experts weighing in on this stuff.  Besides, if we listen closely, we find that the problems have no trouble speaking for themselves.
The human element: What is it?
Our ability to find real solutions for real problems is why we have survived as long as we have on this planet. These things that we face today, are problems that have faced every free society from the very inception of organized civilization.  It is all cyclical... and really not all that unique, excepting the recent advances in technology. The people, places, and names have changed, but the issues remain the same.  As we progress, decadence builds.  Inevitably decadence morphs into ignorance, and that is when the wolves begin their infiltration of our fear mechanisms.  As the problems pile up and order begins to crumble, their response is to corral us, so we don't panic and make things worse.  In response to all of this blatant  ignorance, we have a choice.  Either we fix the problem within ourselves, or we proceed with our naps.  Humans have responded to their own ignorance many times throughout history, and it doesn't always have to be violent.  There is a human element within all of us, that desires to make things better.  Sometimes, in order to make things better, we need to go through a period of hardship, which may seem inconsequential, but nothing could be more necessary.  We have talked to people from all walks of life, all religions, all political affiliations and people from many countries.  Believe it or not, we all essentially agree, something is wrong.  Each of us must do what we can in our own lives to recognize the problem and then provide an answer. Where to start? With you yourself.  When you have finished there, begin moving into your circle of influence.  After that, it is time to build on your sphere of influence and spread the word.  Remember, if you want people to listen and sincerely acknowledge your ideas: "Action Always Speaks Louder Than Words"... that is of course, unless your words are already backed by previous action.

Getting the blog back up may seem like a simple task but given our fluxuating circumstances things took a little longer than we would have liked, sorry... we hope next time we can be more efficient and of course we are constantly looking for better ways to keep people informed in a more conveniant fashion, If any of you have i
  • spacejunk : Looks like you guys finally have the blog up and running again. What happened there?
  • dirtymule : Hi growman, the SR11 shoots in full HD,has a 60GB hard drive and is progressive in almost every function. Beyond the moderate price point and functionality   our primary reasons for choosing it were durability and compactness, two things that were mandatory for a project like our's. It does have issues operating in Vista, but so far that is my only complaint. Overall; Best Prosumer level camera I have ever owned.
  • growmangrow : I heard a rumor your team uses the Sony HDR SR11, What do you think about its performance?
